Presenting the Offer
About 75% of all real estate transactions involve another agent, or another Company. Once an offer is made, your real estate agent will contact you to arrange for the presentation of the offer. If all parties are local, the offer may be presented to you in person by the agent of the buyer making the offer. You may also choose to have the offer presented to you by your agent only. If you are out of the area, faxes and emails can get an offer to you almost anywhere in the world!
Three Options to Consider
- Accept the offer exactly as presented and your home is SOLD!
- Make a counter offer- any desired changes to price, terms, personal property, date for the close of escrow, or possession dates.
- Reject the offer
